Adrian Grey
One of the Three

It seems that being into artistic media and liking dark theme stories are a prerequisite for having the name ADRIAN GREY.

I am one of three I know of. All 3 of us have the same name, same job (basically) and at least two of us, Adrian Grey and I look pretty similar too. Same bald heads (by choice) similar life perspectives, and a twisted sense of justice! How do I know this? Well it isn't everyday you get to meet yourself.

On Feb 8th, I meandered over to www.adriangrey.net. To my surprise, it was a media based web site for a Graphics Animation Guru, responsible for everything from MEGUZI on Cartoon Network to those delicious M&M characters you see on all the commercials. A few emails were exchanged and I immediately knew the universe was starting to repeat. He sent me a picture of himself and I was shocked. Not at him, but at what he was next to. You see, I've always had a fear of dolls, manikins, pale faces in the moonlight etc.., So imagine my surprise when this (almost) total stranger has the balls to send a spooky picture of him next to a doll - as his first introduction! I loved it!

Today (Feb10th) we loosely planned on having a beer down by the ocean.

Let's pause the story here for a brief rundown on commonality:
Most people suck. They small talk themselves into oblivion, and wiggle out of any semblance of absolutism, (*yeah I made a word, it's MY site after all). So I really expected this "Adrian Grey" to never call me back, and we'd exchange one email a year until we both took our respective dirt naps.

Boy was I wrong! This guy rocked, (does that qualify as egocentric? -((we are talking about Me in a weird, universal salsa kind of way))) he arrived ahead of schedule, (like another Adrian Grey I know always does) and actually showed up! I really expected a "...yeah, I'm busy but hey maybe some other time...we'll keep in touch..." Hollywood signing off now.

Nope.

This Adrian Grey was legit. He said we'd have a drink, and we had one...caffine at that, but hey it was three in the afternoon. Perfect strangers meeting over a silly name. But it wasn't just that. I mean the name "Adrian Grey" isn't THAT unusual. If my name was Unger Nigenthal or Voldi then THAT would be something, but we had almost everything else in common. About the only thing we didn't share was music tastes, but remember I had earaches as a kid ;)

Then Adrian Grey tells me, (Adrian Grey) that there is another Adrian Grey in Australia! Guess what? He's also a media warlord/graphics etc., On top of that he's a bit on the dark side too.

It's appropriate in retrospect. For those of you that don't know, the name Adrian means: DARKONE. Cool, cheesy ...whatever, but it does seem to have some truth to it as evidenced below:
